Made from fabric with Cool Comfort™ technology, it features dual cotton pockets perfect for a prosthesis. The adjustable straps and hook and eye fastening allow for a comfortable fit as your body heals after surgery.

It is very hard to open and close,there's not enough material for the hook to hook them close and trying to open is almost impossibie

Bought following a lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node biopsy. Needing to wear a bra 24/7 following surgery this is the one I chose. It has been pretty good, but the length of the bra for me has been a tad troublesome. It comes down lower than ordinary bras and has rubbed where it ends. Apart from that it has been comfy and practical

Good bra and considerably more comfortable than the one provided by the hospital . However the fasteners are terrible. They need to be re thought as are a struggle to work which is not helpful when you are already in pain or discomfort post surgery.

I bought some cheaper post operation bras online that were just not comfy so I decided to try here. I had lung operation and needed front closing and comfort. This bra is very soft and smooth so it helped a lot against stitches. The Velcro was the main reason I bought it so that I could close it as little as I wanted but still gave coverage. It also has extremely comfortable shoulder straps that are padded. Easy to adjust at the front which is what I needed due to not being able to reach at my back. Definitely recommend this bra for post surgery wear.

I have just had a double mastectomy and reconstruction. My surgeon suggested I bring a front opening sports bra with me to wear after my surgery, but I wasn’t sure what size I would need. I ended up finding this bra instead. The material is soft for sore skin, the front fastening does up ok and is strong enough to take a lot of pressure. You can adjust the straps from behind and in front. I ordered 3 bras all with the same back size but with different cup sizes, as you are never sure exactly what size you will need. I woke up from the surgery with bandages and the next day my surgeon came, removed all the bandages and picked the size bra I would need (and he helped put it on me). In the half a day since the surgery I would say I had swollen at least one cup size (even with drains). I wore that bra and bought a second in the same size and I am so glad I did. The support the bra gives is just like the original bandages. Taking it off to wash you realise how much just wearing it reduces pain. I would 100% recommend this bra for the procedure I had done. (I did by cheaper ones from a different UK shop and maybe after a few weeks I might wear them, but they wouldn’t have given enough support to help reduce my pain like this bra did and I am glad I didn’t rely on them).

Ahead of my surgery, I got fitted by a lovely lady at the Gemini store who recommended this bra to me. I have worn these 24 hours a day since having my surgery a week ago and they have been great making me feel supported and comfortable. I did buy another brand as well from elsewhere and although it is softer and stretchier, I don't feel as supported. The front fastening makes it easy to put on and although I found the hooks a little fiddly the first time, you do get used to it quickly. Added bonus is that M&S take the VAT off these too!

The velcro catches on your clothes so I would not recommend this product. The fastener should be changed. Buttons? Hooks and eyes?

Bit fiddly
The bra is comfortable but my issue is that its not very easy to fasten the front. The hook clips are very small and the need to go into a tiny hole which is very fiddly. The velcro is useful though. When you are recovering from surgery you need something that is easy to put on to avoid having your arms raised for an extended period.

This post recovery bra does what it says. It’s comfortable and a good cut under the arm for lymph node biopsies. It offers enough support but the undercut band could be a bit firmer

I have been wearing these bras 24/7 for a week now post surgery, & I find them really comfortable. The lady that fitted it was great & adjusted the straps to where I needed them, so I did the same with the others I ordered, before the op. Yes the hooks can be a bit fiddly, but the velcro gives it that bit more tightness you need for keeping things still!
