Not so little little black dress

At first I thought this apparently petite sizing was a mistake - 5'1 and it's at the very bottom of my calf - but now I've worn it I'm happy with that. It can really be dressed up with a striking sparkly brooch or a statement necklace, though it might look dull on its own. So overall I am pleased with this dress; the only downside is that it's a bit tight to put on and a little of the upper back seam has popped open. Now where's that old sewing basket...?!

It has a lovely weight to it, so it drapes really well. The photo definitely shows the dress as navy, but in reality, it's a very dark navy, and one could actually think it is black.
