Polka Dot Belted Midaxi Shirt Dress

Love this dress, I can dress it up with ankle boots or a heel or dress down with trainers.n

Delivery quicker than expected, material lovely style fit and length all perfect, I am a size 14 and 5ft 7in BUT there was a hole right at the bottom of the dart where there was insufficient material to hold it together so disappointed, shall I reorder not sure as looking back on the reviews I see someone else had a hole in her dress. This was £49.50 and I expected better from Marks.

This dress has a lovely design, the fit is good. It could be used for a smart occasion, but also just for a lovely Summers day. The belt is very long and I found that when I fastened it, I had a lot of spare belt which went way beyond tucking into the side loop, which then didn't hang right or sit well. The colour is not as nice as I thought it would be, there are so many lovely pinks, but this had a strange tone to it. Not as dusky pink as I thought it would be. Ultimately, the colour just didn't suit me and so I didn't keep the dress.

This is a beautiful dress and a true midi length (I am 5ft 5ins)Because I am 36DD I ordered a size 14 and 16 because of the front fastening. The 14 was a perfect fit so I will return the 16.Hopefully we will get some nice weather so I can show off my new dress. I am unable to say how it has washed but I don't see any problems

This is quite a pretty dress and the material feels good too. However, it was far too long and I didn't feel inclined to cut off so much material to shorten it. I am 5' 2" - 9 stone and I sent for a size 12.

Fabulous dress, a dress for the day time or summer evenings. Beautiful material, that hardly crinkles, so a must to pack for your summer holiday. This would grace any venue, city break or beach restaurant. So glad I purchased it and can't wait for lockdown to end, so I can show it off to my friends!

I am a size 14 and I ordered a 14 it fits really well. It’s not the pink in the photo but it’s a nice dusky pink. I really like the style which suits me as it has a waist with a nice belt. I haven’t washed it yet but it feels nice on .

I was excited to receive this dress that looked so nice on Holly. Luckily I wasn’t so in love with it on me as it had a hole/rip on the front, almost like someone had trod on it with a dirty stiletto. Obviously I have returned it for a refund but disappointed that it was sent to me in that condition. It looked so pretty on line but in reality I felt it was a bit frumpy. Looking forward to my refund!

Great dress - smart/casual... it just works! Ordered first dress and the belt was massive! At least 3” too big for my waist and hung down, limply. Reordered and this time it was perfect... but of a faff and a let down, but we’re sorted now, so all is good!! I shall be wearing it to death this summer...

My Mum and I both purchased this dress and, on the whole, we were pleased with it. The colour, style material and pattern were lovely, the trouble is, even when we purchased the 'regular' rather than 'long' length, it was far too long. I am not a fan of maxi dresses, so this was just a personal preference, but my mum was worried that she would trip on it. I am 5'7", so I was surprised that the length was not closer to mid-calf. Shame, as we would both have kept it.

You could dress it up or down, lovely material and a great fit, a little long on me but i'm getting it taken up. Perfect!

Love this dress, the colour, style and material. Great for the price. We need more like this in the future. I love the different lengths too. Only problem for me is the bust sometimes a 14 is too tight so have To go up a size.

I normally takeI an 18-22 depending on style so bought an 18 and it’s a little small so I would say it’s true to size perhaps a bit small. I’m 5”3 and this is regular length which is about mid calf. I’m not sure about this dress and suspect I will return it, the pink is an odd dusty pink and the material has a slightly old/cheap feel and at £50 I’m not sure I’m convinced. I really want to like it as spots, pink, sleeves and decent length should tick all my boxes but have the feeling that unless you are tall and skinny it will remind you of the things your gran wore in the 80’s but I’ll try it on again on a warm sunny day and see if that’s changes my mind. I’ve said I recommend it as I have to tick one of the boxes and I do think it is worth giving it a go if you like it and you may be pleasantly surprised
