Polar Fleece Zip Up Gilet

Got this for husband as he dislikes bulky jumpers and things

This product was very reasonably priced. I bought the blue one with the darker shade pockets. Essentials, for a gilet, for me, are minimum of three pockets, with one having to be a breast pocket and, being fleece. This is a warm fleece so top marks. Unfortunately the pocket let it down. Yes, there are three and, yes, one is a breast pocket. However, the pockets are too small. You can just about squeeze a decent sized mobile phone, without a protective case, in the side pockets but zipping up is virtually impossible. And, because the pocket have little depth, anything other than handkerchiefs or tissues will fall out when you sit down, if they aren't zipped. I found out the hard way when my keys fell out. The breast pocket is too small to be of any great use other than a secured place for gate and/or garage remotes. In spite of it fitting well and being warm, it's let down by the poorly designed and executed pockets so, I can't recommend this product.

I work outside in the evenings, and at this time of year it can get very chilly. This Gilet is perfect for extra warmth, before the need for a coat/jacket arises .

Great body warmer nice and comfortable if I’m honest I could have done with it being a bit longer but it’s not a problem

Warm and well made article except I am uncertain the thin fabric and design of the pockets will cope with everything my husband usually wants to carry with him.

I bought this gilet in green for my son previously and he was very pleased with it especially the amount of zipped pockets which he finds very useful .
