This is really nice, easy drinking wine. Most of the time I'm red wine girl but this was a nice little number. It is a bit pricey and I got it when 25% offer was on so not too bad. Will definitely buy again

Like ALL Croatian Wines,they are not massed produced,but for the most produced by individual families.Marks & Spencer currently offer 2 White wines.From Eilo Pilato,comes the variety Malvasia,a typical local grape of Istrian,Croatia. Served Chilled comes the scent of Meadow Flowers,and a taste of Citrus & freshly picked Peaches..Great with seafood, or with a plate of sheep's cheese, from the Island of Pag, olives,and freshly baked bread! I first tasted Eilo Pilato's wines on a visit in 2003.

The Pilato is a fantastic and easy to drink light wine - similar to a Reisling but with more depth. Really worth a try.
