Pentre Stretch II Walking Trousers

These waterproof trousers are excellent. They look almost like dress trousers so popping into a pub during a walk, you don’t look or feel cumbersome. Very comfortable, though if you’re like me & your waist size is a 12/14 I would recommend getting a size 14. I love that they stretch & you can select a specific leg length. Will be buying a second pair. Great quality & are actually waterproof! Love them.

Should have listened less to the reduced price and more to other reviewers! These are not flattering, really baggy pockets go across the worst bit of my tummy and the elasticated waistband is at the front. They really are stupidly tight around the bottom and have no stretch so are hard to get off. They are really tight around the waistband (I’m size 12) and they feel restrictive and tight on my legs - I thought there would be movement in the fabric but there isn’t. I’m petite and the short length is good, but that’s the only positive I can find. I’d return them but had to cut the waistband as it was cutting in. I’m not a big size 12 but am 52 so have some extra baggage there!

I wanted to replace my old Regatta 'Zarine' trousers and these were the closest I could find. They're ok, nice a easy to move in and they don't make a rustling noise as you walk along. But they are quite snug. I am a size 10 but have opted for a 12. In the winter I like to wear leggings and/or jogging bottoms under my walking trousers so I will pick up a size 14. The ankles are maybe a bit too tight really, considering the trousers are for walking and you might want them to go over your walking boots. They are ok, but I would love to see the Zarine's come back as they were perfect and lasted me for over 5 years with almost daily use - literally walked 1000's of miles in them. I think it would be good if there was more choice - different styles (for different tastes and body shapes) to choose from in this particular Isoflex fabric.

Comfortable fit. Easy to wear, wash, dry. Hardwearing. Long lasting.
