Brushed Pencil Pleat Blackout Thermal Curtains

Beautiful looking curtains, very well made and good value. Have not bought curtains from you for a while, and I was surprised at the Quality for the price! Thank you Marks.

I needed a thermal black out velvet curtain for my front door and stuggled to find the performance and quality I needed. These curtains did not disappoint, premium feel, perfect length and excellent overall insulation. Really happy with them!!

These were bought for my south facing bedroom - excellent job, great quality really recommend

Wish the ones I had bought had a shorter length for the width I needed. Will have turn up the hem, but otherwise I am glad I bought them, as at last, I won't get woken by the early morning light in summer or my neighbour's security lights all year round!!!

The curtains are well made but not as thick or warm as I hoped.

I cannot recommend buying these curtains unless you can sew and are familiar with furnishing fabrics. I wish I had returned them but I had already gathered up the heading making return invalid. First of all the creasing as mentioned by other reviewers is very bad. You will need a good iron and a steamer to get them out. I had to do a lot of work on these curtains to make them look acceptable. The side hems are not straight resulting in the edges curling outwards. They have been pressed badly resulting in 'tramlines' down the outer edges. The heading tape is poor quality and is stretching where the hooks are inserted. The curtains are heavy and a deeper heading tape would be more appropriate. Part of the curtain top edge had not been stitched under the heading tape properly resulting in a frayed edge. The colour I bought was champagne but it was much darker than the photo on the website. One curtain is 2cms longer than the other. I had to reposition the header tape to shorten them and make the hems even. An absolute palaver! The curtains were bought to cover a cold window and do have adequate thermal properties.

The curtains arrived very quickly. I hung them that morning and by evening any folds or creases had dropped out. I am very pleased with the look and quality of them.

The curtains came out of the packaging creased. The instructions said not to use a steam iron. I found that the creases were very difficult to get out without steam, so I used it without damaging the curtains. Once they were hung without creases they were very nice and blocked out the light from outside.

Good quality material but impossible to iron out creases in material. There is an inch difference in curtain lengths, so obviously do not meet when closed! Not the normal standard expected from M&S!

Lovely, easy to hang, look great. Definitely recommend.
