Brushed Pencil Pleat Blackout Thermal Curtains

I am very happy with the quality and look of our new curtains. Works well as a thermal barrier too.

The curtains came out of the packaging creased. The instructions said not to use a steam iron. I found that the creases were very difficult to get out without steam, so I used it without damaging the curtains. Once they were hung without creases they were very nice and blocked out the light from outside.

Good quality material but impossible to iron out creases in material. There is an inch difference in curtain lengths, so obviously do not meet when closed! Not the normal standard expected from M&S!

Excellent quality curtains for the price. The blue colour is suitable for either lounge or bedroom. Very happy with my purchase.

I think the curtains are very good quality, I chose the Champagne colour which is a neutral colour and is just right for my bedroom. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the curtains were very creased. Because of the length of the curtains it was difficult for me to iron the creases out. I have hung them in the hope that the creases will drop out over time.

Good value. Well made curtains. My only criticism is that they were quite creased when I unpacked them and ironing on the coolest setting, as recommended on the care label, didn’t get them out.

Not as heavy as expected but nice quality and good blackout as described.

I chose a chocolate brown black-out pair. They look lovely & do keep the light out. Perfect for keeping the heat in in winter & the sun out in summer. I found they were very badly creased and being polyester they didn’t drop at all. I used my steam iron whilst they were hanging, just using the steam & gently touching them with the warm iron. Perfect! With hindsight, I would have steamed them first! I would recommend these, but steam first.

Good thermal blackout curtains which are very effective.

Perfect colour and very good quality at a great price. I usually make my own curtains but was under a time pressure and bought these to “keep us going”. In fact we are very pleased with them and I am off the hook (!) having no need to make any now.

I bought these in the pale blue for my newly decorated bedroom. They are a nice weight and decent quality material. It’s great that they are a blackout lining. The only criticism is that they are very creased and it took a couple of attempts to get most of the creases out. They were great value as they were on offer when I bought them.

Nice curtains but when pulling heading all three cords detached from end so had to hand sew them back in which was disappointing and fiddly.
