Nike Pegasus 42 Women's Road Running Shoe

Loved these running shoes. The colour was exactly what I was looking for. Also great that you can get matching/contrasting shorts etc.

Great fit and cushion when striking the pavement. Perfect color.

Terrible version.
Originally posted on Nike
I have been wearing the Pegasus for nearly 20 years. These are by far the worst version I have worn. The medial sides of the upper part of the shoe are loose, no matter how tight the laces, there is a weird gaping pouch on the side which cause it to feel like my foot was not secure in the shoe. I don't have a narrow foot, but these almost felt like a wide shoe, but poorly put together. They felt horrible right out of the box and felt more flimsy and cheap than past models. If you are a runner, or active person, who wants a neutral base but a supportive upper that actually fits your foot, I would steer clear of these.

I’m impressed!

I absolutely love these 😍😩😎, as a sneaker connoisseur. These passed my standards in style and comfort. Grateful for the sale, definitely going to purchase more , Pegasus 42. I’m not a runner, but these will be a good walking and casual shoe for me. I normally wear a ladies size 7- 7 1/2, but since most Nike trainers run narrow, I decided for the size 8, and it gave me great room for thicker socks and toe movements. Glad I did!

Bring back the previous outsole traction
Originally posted on Nike
Nike, please bring back the outsole traction pattern from the previous Pegasus! Why change something that worked so well? I’ve worn Nike Air Zoom Pegasus for years because of their unmatched grip, traction, and stability across all terrains and weather conditions. The redesigned outsole on this latest version has lost what made the Pegasus stand out. Please bring back the previous outsole design—it was one of the shoe’s biggest strengths.

So pretty and incredibly comfy!
Originally posted on Nike
I don’t usually buy running shoes because they’re really not my style but these are completely different! I bought these because I needed better support for my ankles and I was genuinely surprised by how sleek, stylish, and pretty they actually are. The comfort is incredible too! If you’ve been hesitant about running shoes like I was, these are genuinely worth trying. 10/10!

Not for road running
Originally posted on Nike
I have been running on Pegasus for years. The models through number 41 were durable. This model barely lasted three weeks before the cushion gave out so much it was hurting my joints on longer runs. After barely a month of running about 25 mi/week, I need to replace them. If you run on the road, I do not recommend the Pegasus 42.

Straight out the box and on my feet for a quick 5k. Love them,so supportive and comfortable without being over the top. With the Pegasus range you won’t be disappointed.

Gorgeous and super comfy - bouncy enough for walking and stable enough for the gym even for me as an over pronator. Haven’t tried running 😆

Awesome!!!
Originally posted on Nike
I have worn Nikes for many years. The Pegasus is my go to shoe for all day wearing. I walk 2-3 miles daily plus just walking around work and home. These shoes are the best! Other shoes will cause me foot pain, knee pain and just generally uncomfortable. I always buy the black and white but now just custom designed the white version too.

Great purchase

The most comfortable running shoes I have ever worn! I am a casual runner who has run in a few races. Seriously super comfy with every step. I love the design as well. The sole is not too thick as well so I don’t land on my heels during my stride.

Supportive but toe box is now too big
Originally posted on Nike
The soles are very comfortable and supportive. However the tie box is wider meaning these don't fit the same as the previous 2 versions, leading to a sore, bruised toe. I've been wearing Pegasus for the past few years but it seems I'll have to find a different go to trainer. Very disappointing.

I absolutely love my Nike Pegasus 42s! I got the new pink ones (they have two shades of pink and lavender in them). They’re super comfy and lightweight. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on them. I plan to buy more pairs. 10/10!
