Bought two of these cases for a holiday in Turkey. I did find the wheels on mine occasionally had a mind of their own while wheeling them around the airports. Other than that they held quite a lot, and surprisingly did not get too trashed by the baggage handlers.

I needed to buy lighter suitcases that were also robust. They had to have wheels and an inner pocket for passport etc. I also wanted them to look stylish. The Palma range met all those criteria

Wheels and base not strong enough

This is our 2nd suitcase of this type and both have let us down. The front wheels have buckled on both suitcases with only weights of 17 or 18kgs. The first case cracked at base, buckling the wheels, after only one trip. As guaranteed, we contacted M&S Customer Service but were not interested. Thinking handling fault we bought another. The base is weak, making the front of the case bend and difficult to roll along.The base is obviously not strong enough for its purpose. Would not recommend.
