Ordered these on a whim to put either side of sofa but larger table is much too big as a side table and is almost square so doesn't fit well . I should have looked at measurements but cannot be bothered to return so have kept the smaller table and put square one in sunroom.

Buyer beware! I received 3 boxes of furniture in the same delivery from M&S but the delivery men only opened one box (media unit) which looked fine. I checked in the other box(nest of tables) that it was the correct table and colour was cream. After the furniture being stored safely awaiting decorating work, imagine my dismay when I unpacked them on to find the leg fell off and 2 large grooves out of the leg and the other leg all split under the table. As if that wasn't bad enough M&S told me that they would not replace the table despite telling me that the delivery men should have unpacked the box. I was to contact the furniture ombudsman! This is very nice looking furniture however I wish I had read the previous review!

I purchased this small nest of tables to match my recently purchased Padstow Sidboard, Dining table and chairs. Unfortunately, the larger table was damaged in 2 places as pointed out by the delivery man. The wood was split and there were black marks on the top. I have to re order the nest of tables. I recommend any future purchaser checks the item carefully.

We bought the dining table some weeks ago then decided that the nest of table would complement our dining room so ordered them. When they arrived there was a large chip on the front leg of one table which after a lengthy telephone conversation will be exchanged. Then we discovered later that they did not actually match the dining table!

I have bought 5 different items of furniture from the Padstow collection and love all of it. Very well made and great to look at.
