Although I think this onion saver is a little big it does work well. I'm always having half an onion left over and usually put it in a bag but this works easlly and stops your fridge smelling of onion.

One of the handiest gagets I have bought for the kitchen for ages. It is big enough to fit the largest of onions; keeps the unused portion fresh and stops stinking out the fridge! I also bought the pepper, garlic and lemon/lime savers in the same range and they are all well made, functional and very attractive at the same time.
