Light creamy moisturiser with SPF 25 delivers the hydration you love from moisture surge™. Safe for sensitive skin, this moisturiser is perfect for daily wear, creating a smooth canvas for makeup. Suitable for all skin types, this moisturiser has a light cream texture that sinks into the skin for deep, all-day hydration. It also protects against UVA/UVB rays to help keep the sun's glow from dulling yours. The new moisture surge™ SPF looks opaque going on, but blends in sheer without leaving behind a white cast, residue or stickiness. It leaves skin feeling hydrated, looking plumped and provides a smooth canvas. The key ingredients include hyaluronic acid, a moisture-binding ingredient which helps attract moisture to create a "moisture reservoir" for ideal hydration. Clinique's formula is expertly blended with two different molecular weights hyaluronic acid, aloe vera bio-ferment, lactobacillus, activated aloe water, aloe vera extract powder and pro-vitamin d all providing great skin benefits.

Made my skin breakout!
Originally posted on Clinique UK
I tried a sample of this product and was pleasantly surprised, it was fairly well absorbed and lighter than most SPF creams I've tried. However, after buying the full size I'm disappointed to have broken out all over my cheeks. I have very clear skin usually, and when I used to breakout in my teens it was only ever in my tzone. I don't know whether to persevere and hope this is just because it's a new product, or whether I should just give up!

Not the one

I've used moisture surge forever and was so excited to try it with added SPF as all SPF face creams I've tried make my combination skin oily and result in breakouts. Turns out this one does too, really sad as had such high hopes this was the one.

Caused breakouts
Originally posted on Clinique UK
I've previously used Clinique Moisture Surge without the SPF. I normally rely on Clinique for my skin as it's a bit sensitive. But they've let me down with this one. Completely different texture to the original, I think it might be too heavy for my skin as it's caused me to breakout in whiteheads and blackhead.

Makes my skin sore!
Originally posted on Clinique UK
Purchased this assuming that as a Clinique product it would be ok for my sensitive skin - disaster! After a few days use my skin came out in red, itchy patches that were very sore. Did not expect an allergy tested product to cause contact dermatitis.

Beware
Originally posted on Clinique UK
I have used Moisture Surge for years but having just purchased and used for the umpteenth time I now find myself with sore and streaming eyes. What has changed? It can only be the addition of spf, in itself a good thing, but not if you have very sensitive skin. A regrettable waste of money and a search for a new daily moisturiser. Such a shame.

Very greasy made dry skin spotty
Originally posted on Clinique UK
I have dry skin where I am in the menopause and use the 100h moisture surge and thought this would be perfect with the added sun protection, how wrong I was. It's like sun cream itself and has left me with spotty and greasy skin, went to a Clinique counter I was passing the other day and the consultant said that it's know and seems to be like it on a lot of peoples skin so wouldn't advise it! I now have a whole pit I can't use.

Makes my eyes water
Originally posted on Clinique UK
I love the normal moisture surge so I was looking forward to using this. Unfortunately it makes my eyes water badly even if I don't put the cream near my eyes. So the jar is sitting in my cupboard unused. This is the only Clinique product that my eyes react to.

sits on the top of my skin

No, I don't recommend this
I bought this cream thinking that it was the traditional moisture surge. However, on opening it, it has a creamy texture that is oily, sits on my skin then rubs off when I touch it. It was an expensive buy for me and does not work - unlike the original moisture surge.

Stung my eyes and dried my skin
Originally posted on Clinique UK
I asked for the moisture surge at the counter and when I've opened it and used it I discovered it's a cream rather than the gel I've been using for years. This cream is not for me. I've lost the receipt so I can't return it.

Easily the best moisturiser on the market - even for those with sensitive skin. It hydrates beautifully but doesn't clog your pores up! When my skin is having breakouts I tend to use fuller coverage foundation like the E.L double wear, this cream is a perfect base for even that kind of foundation. sorted out the dry skin on my neck as well.
