Moab Speed 2 GTX Walking Trainers

Great shoe, RUNS SMALLER THAN THE MOAB SPEED VENT WOMEN, compared sole to sole. The back of the sole is the same, the front of the sole starts sooner on this gore-tex version and is overall shorter. Got these for my daughter and she told me she needs a half size up and her foot must be growing still..... compared to the vent shoes in the same size (that she's worn for several months and the fabric is decomposing in the inner heel and other areas) and these are differently sized. I really, really, really hope it's only for this version! I'll have to go into a store now. Standard sizing REALLY helps with purchasing $$$ online. Thank you Merrell for making these great shoes, please please please keep soles the same for the Moab Speed 2!

I own several Moab boots. Both 2 and 3. Always wear size 9, guaranteed. I absolutely love(d) this model . That is until I got Moab Speed 2 Gore-Tex pair. I just received my order 3 days ago, and had no doubt whatsoever this pair would fit just like my other beloved Moabs. I recklessly tossed the box away and took my new boots with me on the trip. First of all, they are very pretty. Pretty enough to wear in the city. But after walking just half a day on the cobblestones of Lisbon I have terrible pain in my left foot in the toes area. Unbearable. Right one is perfectly fine. I was considering wearing these boots on a hiking part of our trip later, but this is a firm no go. Back to my old pair I go. I can't even described how disappointed I am. Skip this model

Weather ready, nice sole for hiking, arch was good but i didnt care for the color so I sent them back. Wish Merrel would make a sneaker for women in white with suttle neutral accents that are not pastels. Accent only in dark beige, gray tones, greens, rust or grays.

I hate this shoe. I wore them once and will never buy another pair. They ran small and it was crippling to wear them.

Bought these for an Alaskan cruise and wore them on a hike in Ketchikan. I wore them a few times before the trip to break them in, but honestly I don't think they needed it. They were comfy from the first time I wore them. The hike was very wet with some areas having 2 inching or running water on the path and they kept my feet 100% dry!

These shoes needed very little break in time before slippery. steep summer hiking in the Azores. They also feel fine walking in town. I am recovering from plantar fasciitis, and they provide great arch support and keep my feet from slipping around and getting worse. So glad to have these!

Really wanted to love them but my heel kept slipping no matter how I tied them. Nice design and seemed well made. I will be returning.

Merrill have always been my hiking shoes. This pair I was told to get a half size larger and the shoe box was way to wide. Also shoe was not as supportive as my other Merrill's. Went to the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone with the Wolf rescue and had a hard time in these shoes.

Great shoes for hiking and just for a casual walk too!!

wanted to love! unfortunately I couldn't find a good fit with these. sized up a whole sized based on length and still felt some cramping in the toe box area (8.5-9.5). The heel slip was the biggest issue for me. Just a very wide opening with poor lace placement - didn't seem like these would fair well on long hikes

I bought to travel to the mountains in Peru and I am so glad I did. They are very comfortable.

I sent these shoes back because there wasn't any cushioning in the shoe. My feet did not like the hard soles. I have your hiking boots and don't have that problem with those boots. I really liked this shoes but my feet got sore after wearing them in the house.

These shoes will definitely work well for uneven or wet surfaces encountered when traveling. I didn’t give them five stars because they are a bit bulky and I can feel the lugs through the shoe to the bottoms of my feet. Essentially I need to be aware to pick my feet up when wearing them. No big deal they are made for stability. I just need to get used to them. Thank you Merrell.

Best shoe for people with foot pain! I wore these all over the PNW and I will forever buy these shoes.
