Moab 3 Mid GTX Waterproof Hiking Boots

OMG. I can't say enough about this hiking boot. I just got back from hiking the Salkantay to Machu Picchu and this boot was the reason I made it!!! I am a woman of a certain age and was super nervous about the five day hike. I had read this boot was the most comfortable right out of the box, so I went with it and it was great for training, but the true test would be over rocks, through creeks, in rain, cold, heat and daily punishment. This boot did it all!!!! I didn't glare at my boots every morning when I went to put them on for another grueling day of hiking. In fact, I want to get another pair just to have them be new and fresh again. I really can't say enough about the comfort and quality of this hiking boot. Would add that someone suggested wearing compression hiking crew socks and that was also a game changer! Go forth and conquer in these!!!

I have had 3 pair of these. They are great. I have to say they finally made them a smidge longer. Helps a ton.

Does not run small! I am 8.5 and that was perfect. Comfy, cute.

I love these supportive, sturdy shoes - i walk nearly every day in Fall, Winter and Spring through the woods, up a local mountain and these are my favorite shoes.

Great traction on rock surfaces and completely waterproof. Very comfortable but purchased a half size larger than usual for best fit.

I had heard about Merrell hiking boots and finally bought a pair. They are so comfortable and cushioned, with padding in all the right places. I bought the low top and the higher top, but ended up keeping the high top version for more ankle support. I have narrow feet and they fit great. I sized up half a size to allow for thicker hiking socks.

The arch support in these shoes is great! I hate having to buy a shoe and then purchase another product to make the shoe work for me. Thank you so much for designing a great shoe! I’ve had no break-in period as other customers commented and these keep my feet warm and dry. Love them!

These boots prove to be waterproof to wade thru puddles and shallow creeks. They are warm and very comfortable. I find the grip is good on trails and rocks. Plus easy to clean.

These are the best hiking boots I’ve ever had! I like the wide toe box and they have great grip.

Got this on a good deal during thanksgiving. Was wanting an ankle support trekking shoes and this one is comfortable, not heavy, grippy and no heal or ankle pain after a tough hike.

Good general boot, lacks some ankle support. Not enough grip in ice.

This is my fourth pair of Merrell Moabs. First the Moab twice, then the Moab 2, and now Moab 3. My go-to for everything from working, long walks, hiking, and in the snow. I'm a size 6.5, have a wider front foot, narrow heel, high arch. The Moab gives me room in the toe box, at the same time cradles my heel area, and does not cramp my high arch even when I'm in them all day, five days in a row. These have been truly out-of-the-box comfortable and supportive for me and stay that way until the treads are totally worn. Incredible boots! I highly recommend them!
