I love this skirt! There is nothing in my wardrobe that I cannot match with this fabulous skirt. It literally goes with everything & brightens my day. It's true to my size 10 and at 5' 7" it's a perfect length for me....just the right amount of elegance. I do think that at £50 it ought to have a lining, and I have to wear a slip under it, but hardly a hardship.I have no problem wearing this to Tesco as easily I do to the theatre. If you love it you'll wear it anywhere. Well done M&S! Another Autograph hit for me!

Despite my husband calling me "butterball" (as in turkeys) every time I wear this skirt, I love it too much to care about a Gok Wan wannabe. There is nothing in my wardrobe that I cannot match with this fabulous skirt. It literally brightens my day. It's true to my size 10, when in the past years when M&S was into "vanity sizing" I was a size 6/8. Last time I was a size 6 I was 12 years old! I do think that at £50 it ought to have a lining, and I have to wear a slip under it, but hardly a hardship. Unlike other reviewers, I have no problem wearing this to Tesco as easily I do to the theatre. If you love it you'll wear it anywhere. Well done M&S! Another Autograph hit for me!

Super stylish and surprisingly versatile. I have so far dressed down with an understated cashmere jumper or even a sweatshirt and hightops, but then can also dress up for the evening. Got stopped no less than four times when wore this out on the weekend and no one believing me that was not designer.

No, I don't recommend this
I'm not sure where or when you would wear this, day, night, occasion, probably all three. It's very striking, but it's like being encased in baking foil. The fabric with its metallic coating ( wipe clean ) is stiff and uncompromising, which makes it difficult for the pleats to fall into shape. I'm 5' 4" and I downsized from a 12 to a 10, because like most Autograph garments, it's on the large size. It's also very long and finished on my ankles. It's not right for me, but could look stunning on the right person.
