Metallic Lace Midi Slip Dress

The sizing is poor. I’m a size 12/14 depending on style so went with the 14 based on other reviews but couldn’t get it over my head. It’s a pity because it’s a beautiful dress otherwise.

Fab party dress feels fab to swish around in. Not sure I would wear to a sit down meal as it's quite tight at the hips when you sit down. I could see this being a struggle if you have a larger chest or wide hips as not much give in the fabric. I put a skirt slip underneath and the fabric moves better around the hips.

I ordered this dress for New Years Eve party, it is a very good quality dress, however it didn’t suit me at all, it looked like I had a nightie on unfortunately. I think it needed more volume in the lace area, I was disappointed so I had to return

I loved the dress on the website. I’m usually a size 16, so I ordered a 16 first, but it was too tight. Then I tried a size 20, but it was too loose on the top and still too tight around the hips. I returned both sizes. Unfortunately, the fit just wasn’t right for me.

This dress comes up incredibly small I am a 16 but had to get a 22 to get a good fit. The gold is darker than in the picture which I actually prefer. I just wish you would standardise your sizes M&S! Not good for a girls morale to have to go 3 sizes up.

I am 5ft and size 12 . The 12 short fits perfectly . It’s a very classy dress for the money
