Merino Ribbed Roll Neck Slim Fit Jumper

I have brought lots of items from M&S and always been happy. I was disgusted and very disappointed with this roll neck. The material was so thin it was see through, terrible quality and fit. For the price I paid I could have brought something better much cheaper elsewhere.

I try to keep an eye out for these ribbed merino jumpers to come back each year and will buy each colour I can find. These are ideal basics and although the red is very flashy for me, I will wear it in winter as I use these rib merinos to layer under other jumpers or dresses. The don’t give bulk, but they are warm and are very easy to maintain. A bit pricey for what they are, but well worth investing in.

Love this sweater- it’s a lightweight but cosy figure hugging style and the lightness of it makes it look very expensive. Perfect under tailored blazers, slip dresses or just with jeans & a biker jacket. I bought last year’s version in french navy which I wore on repeat as it’s so neat fitting as a warm base layer. Would love black too! One point to note- I machine washed last years on a wool cycle, cold, and found the sleeves kept pinging up- I haven’t washed this one yet but M&S have amended the design to include a deep rubbed cuff which hopefully will stop that happening. Excellent value for real wool!

Tried this on in store but did not buy. Beautiful colour but wool very thin so my bra showed through. I bought a similar style last year and wool thicker.
