Yes, I recommend this
It’s difficult to find a slipper which is a bit supportive, has a hard sole and doesn’t look too old or have an naff pattern and I’ve found this pair do the job. The inside liner doesnt fair too well with constant wear so Dad does put an inner sole in after a few months but otherwise he’s happy.

Not suede
The slippers are good quality - however, they are not suede, the main reason I bought them, as they would be more durable. They are in fact microfibre. Please amend your description M&S.

Very comfortable - without socks
No, I don't recommend this
These slippers feel very comfortable and supportive. However, the pile of the faux-fur lining quickly pulls socks toward the toes and the comfort disappears. Using them barefoot, they are very comfortable. I had hoped that they may settle after a few days of use, but not so! Having worn them for a few days, I probably can't return them now, so will need to try some aftermarket insoles. Not what I expected at the price paid.
