It arrives in two halves and is joined together by screwing the top and bottom of the brush together with a square metal plate between the join. The metal plate then forms the top covering/lid of the marble brush container - good design - however not practical when you use the brush as the metal plate catches on the toilet as you move the brush around and up and down to clean the toilet. Also, the marble inside has becomes stained after only a few months of use. To sum this review up, looks good but in my personal view, not fit for purpose.
