About this style
These classic, slightly flared jeans are specially designed to flatter your figure. Slim bootcut fit with a high waist. Innovative bi-stretch denim for comfort and holding, with a no-gape waistband to fit perfectly into your waist. Shaping darts give an extra lift. Authentic 5 pocket construction and front pocket with tummy flattening technology. Less water has been used to produce this jean than conventional fabric washing. All M&S denim is made with sustainably sourced cotton and less water.
Our short length styles are best suited to petites frames.

Not as good as I thought
These jeans are billed as non-gape on the waist. Not to me, I had about 3 inches taken in by someone so that was an additional expense. They are heavyweight so only really suitable in the cooler months.

Having put on weight during lockdown, I needed to bite the bullet and buy new jeans. In effect these jeans take you down a size and the shaping is amazing. In fact I have the same size as before lockdown. The only criticism is the regular come up quite long which is fine for me as I like to wear high block boots or shoes with them. However, the length may not be suitable for everyone and I think a smaller length would be far too short. The jeans are expensive, however it’s well worth paying the extra as they do exactly what they’re meant to do.

bought the blue and was so pleased ive bought the black as well. i'm 60 and my bum looks great in these! bought a 14 regular (sometimes a 14 is slightly too big and a 12 too small but these fit perfectly. high waist so no muffin top on show. really flattering

A fabulous pair of flattering jeans. A tad on the big side. I'm usually a size 10, but would have preferred an 8. They were out of stock so kept the size 10.

These are the best fitting jeans I have had from M & S since the last time' Slim Boot' were fashionable a couple of years ago. I bought both 'short' and 'regular' in 2 colours. They are quite long so I am returning the' regular' today and hopefully there will be more colours available.

I bought my normal size 12 and these jeans were much smaller than that it took me about 5 minutes lying on the bed to do them up! also I have quite slim legs but these were really tight on the legs down to and including the knee making them uncomfortable. The material is also quite thick and heavy. These jeans will definitely be going back. In contrast I bought a pair of Sienna jeans in size 12 at the same time and they were a perfect fit and good value.

Good fit, good quality but like so many others before me, am asking M&S what happened to petite / short length trousers & jeans? I used to be able to buy M&S jeans & trousers and they were the right length. Now every pair has to be shortened by several centimetres. I actually find myself looking for 7/8 length or ankle grazers in the hope that they turn out to be the right length

These jeans feel so comfortable and you can feel them holding you up and in! I buy the longer leg size and and they really are extra long, perfect. I have bought 4 pairs of these jeans and absolutely love them. Highly recommended.
