I only responded by old prestige pans, which I've had for over 20 years as I've bought an induction hob. but I absolutely love my new pans. look great, easy to use, great lids with 2 sized pouring holes, good weight and ready to clean with internal measurement gauge. Really happy with my new purchase and fully recommend.

Lovely new pans!

I'm very pleased with these pans. I hadn't wanted the frying pan or milk pan, but it was much the same price to buy the set as to buy the 3 I needed, and that's my only criticism. They're sturdy without being too heavy, have useful measurements marked inside, and I love the straining feature. They're left-hand friendly, handles don't fill with water in the dishwasher, plus they are great looking!

Made to last, but not to enjoy

One of the most disappointing purchases in my life. The coating on the pans is mediocre and stuff sticks to it - something I never experienced with other pans, even cheap and randomly bought in store. Milk pan coating is also so tender that you can easily scratch it with a spoon - again, I later bough some random pan and it is miles better in that regard. There's no lid available for frying pan too, apparently you're only supposed to sear/fry in the pan and under no circumstances cover it (according to manufacturer reply to one of the reviews). Saucepans have no coating and it is a real pain when you have to sear something first and then make a soup - you end up needing to use frying pan or a lot of oil instead, otherwise it sticks like ..ell. Not a quality problem, but totally avoidable by buying something with coating present. And it's such a shame, since it really is a nicely made piece of kit, just deeply flawed by design.

New pans set excellent . Purchased to replace 38 year old prestige pans that cannot be used on induction hob. Have used the new pans for two weeks, and quaility, ease of cleaning and rubber handles are safe. Quaility of pans still good.

In 1992, with an inheritance, I decided to treat myself to a set of Prestige Lifetime pans. I loved them and didn’t use any other pans. In 2018, we moved to a house which had an induction hob and I had to buy new pans. Reluctantly I gave my Prestige pans to my son and daughter in law. I regret it to this day. We got rid of the induction hob and now to my delight, I have been able to buy a new set of durable Prestige pans. They are versatile, hard wearing and beautiful. I am a very happy bunny.

Bought a relatively cheap saucepan to replace a 25 plus year old one that had just broken. That was Prestige too so I opted for the same high quality brand again. As I say, I thought the pan was cheap but when it came, it’s a solid, sturdy and substantial pan, I was really pleased with it. It looks like it’s built to last and when boiling stuff that used to make a noise like eggs, for instance - they used to rattle in the old pan. Well, not anymore. It’s all very nice and quiet and the non-stick coating should help things clean away easily - when my wife burns things, of course, not me 😂.

Sturdy, well-made to usual Prestige standards. I only ever buy Prestige pans and then not very often, as they never wear out ! Expensive, but well worth it.

I inherited my mothers prestiege pans when she died in 1986. She must have had them at least 5 years then . Apart from the knob on the lid of the big one and a crack in the handle they are perfect. Other pans i have bought, (expenives ones too,) have not lasted. I dont know if the modern ones are as good. Do Prestiege do a frying pan which id NOT non stick?

Replacement of previous prestige pans
Originally posted on prestige.co.uk
Replacing prestige pans that did not work on new induction hob. I had a set of pans that I purchased in 1992, that were still as good as the day I bought them. Unfortunately they didn’t work on our new induction hob. The new pans look and feel solid, here’s for another 33+years of use.
