Tight legged trousers

Brought as reduced but when I tried them on found the legs cut on the small or tight side and the elastic bottom cuffs cut into my ankles I have large legs and ankles so not practical to wear at all I had missed the description online but will not but this style in the future Material was also itchy linen so item returned I won’t be buying a replacement item

I normally don’t buy tapered trousers because of my shape. However I tried these and to my surprise they did not make my hips look bigger. I did buy a size bigger than I would normally do because when I purchase trousers it depends on the style to what size I take. I normally buy a size 16short and I bought 18s which fit very well the length was just right I am about 5’4. The material is a medium weight linen that at the moment does not crease.They have not been washed as yet.

I had purchased these in purple and they are great. as i liked the purple ones decided to have them in white, absolutely dreadful, instead of being tapered they were baggy++ huge on the hips but fitted on the waist and they were much longer than a normal regular. they were returned.

I'm 5ft 2 and ordered a shorter length. The leg length is perfect, hits just above my ankle. The elasticated waist is comfy and looks great with a t-shirt tucked in. The fabric is not see through.

Ok for £7 in the sale and really only bought for around the house. However the pocket lining is beige which lends a tone to the colour of the trousers diminishing the white . Waist about right ,Length a little on the short side . Had they been full price they would be heading back .

I love my M&S linen trousers so much that I've worn my last pair thin. Was disappointed I could not buy the exact same ones this year. I ordered these and thought they'd be fine but did not like the elasticated hem at the ankle. The new style hem made the trousers look like track suit bottoms. Unfortunately I returned them.
