Unusual feel to the fabric but ok. I had not realised it was fastened by a tape. I found I couldn't fasten that satisfactorily. If belt loops had been provided I could have used a belt to keep them up. As it was, I pulled the tape out and with difficulty pushed a slim belt where the tape had been. This involved a few snips here and there, which had to be stitched up. Now a useful pair of shorts held up by a belt, but would have been a lot easier if belt loops had been provided.
