Lovely fitting dress. I bought a size below my normal size. Wish it had buttons all the way down the front, but just a personal preference . Easy to wear and looks and feels great on, got lots of compliments. I bought this dress in the sale so very please with the price.

Fabulous sale price for this superb dress. I'm not a regular M&S shopper - like to be more varied and less formal - but the print, design and fabric resulted in this lovely dress. And it has POCKETS! yeah! Can use the tie belt to vary length slightly. Would be great for semi to almost formal occasions with right accessories. Ideal for a smarter holiday dress from late spring through fairly warm summer - value of natural fibres. Very pleased! (Not yet washed it)

I'm 5'2 and thought I might have to take this dress up, but happy to say the regular length was absolutely fine, it settled just below the knee. I ordered size 14,which was a good fit. It's comfortable and practical. Not high end style perhaps but as it was in the sale I'm happy with it. You now immediately if you'll get good use of a garment and I feel sure this one fits the bill.

I am pleased with the dress. I am 155cm so usually M&S dresses are too big/long for me. But this one is alright, the fabric washes well. Apart from the covers of the two pockets on the chest which are bit crumbly because there are no buttons to hold them down. The color don't look very attractive if I hold the actual dress on hand but look surprisingly good when it is put on. The style is good for work/ leisure.

I bought this dress in a size 14 although I usually buy petite size . It looked quite fitted but on me is nice and roomy, more suitable for the warmer weather. Very pleased with the quality of the material and the style. I think it will look better without a belt.

Nice everyday dress. Bought in the sale so was a good price. Material appears to be of good quality so should wash well. Worn a few times and felt comfortable found out that you need to tie the belt loosely for the best effect.

Despite the negative reviews of this sale item dress I took a chance and ordered it. So glad that I did. It’s a very pretty and unusual print. The quality is lovely and I have found it true to size. It’s smart enough for work and ideal for summer drinks and BBQ’s etc.

Bought this dress in the rainbow sale. Love the style and the length was just what I like - just touching the bottom of the knee on me (5'3"). Material is quite heavy but means it hangs well and the viscose linen mix should make it good for warmer weather. The colours are a bit more dull than they appeared on my computer screen - pale olive and beige/cream with black bits - it did look a bit more green online. Good to have the pockets and my normal size was a perfect fit - the perfect dress for a country walk but still look feminine. Maybe the full price for the dress is a tad expensive, but still worth it unless you are on a really tight budget.

Loved the fabric and colour just not the style, or just didn't fit me right. My lower backside is a bit generous and felt that the dress wasn't doing me any favours as being of straight cut. The pockets were more leaning towards the back of the dress rather than front and very roomy on the tummy. I'm 5"4 and found the length just right for me at knees level. Returned!

Having read conflicting opinions I decided to order Size12.I should have ordered both 10 and 12 because I found the top rather baggy so I have had to return the dress which is disappointing because I like the style and the regular length was ideal for me. I am 5ft 2ins. In future I shall not rely on reviews before reaching a decision.

I bought this on line but I wouldn’t have bought it from the store. The style was exactly what I wanted and it fit very well. I even liked the pattern but the material was really thick and old fashioned - horrible. I have seen and felt linen dresses before but this fabric was thick and woolly and didn’t hang nicely at all. Such a shame it had to go back.
