Difficult to tighten up needed . Once in position it cannot easily be moved up and down without having to get grippers to tighten it up again .Wish I had read reviews before purchasing

Unfortunately the lamp did not reach the standards expected. The assembly instructions had either been written by someone who had never put the lamp together or the screw threads on the middle pole were faulty. To tighten the head of the lamp to the middle post would involve twisting the cable which was not recommended in the instructions from a safety perspective. Disappointingly I returned the lamp.

Very sturdy and modern. Putty is a mid grey colour. Difficult to tighten up needed to use grips. Once in position it cannot easily be moved up and down without having to get grippers to tighten it up again.

Styling is good but some of the finish and materials are poor. Flimsy clear plastic switch. Had to return one due to poor engineering of screw which meant it could not be assembled. Beware if you have arthritis.. the thick plastic security cover is very difficult to remove.
