Bought size 12-13 for girl tall and just turned 12. It fits well, covering up to her wrists even with movement, but with room to grow. She says it feels nice to wear, light and soft, and large pockets which she finds useful, and they're not obvious from outside. It's a bright red, what I'd regard as a true red, and with pink lining which is soft and comfortable. It's proven to be at least showerproof - I wasn't sure from the original information, but definitely fine for light rain - haven't tested it yet in stronger downpour. Not yet washed it. She has already said she'd like me to buy a bigger size for when she grows out of this one, so that's a recommendation! For the quality of the jacket it seems great value for money.
