Does the job but pricey
Yes, I recommend this
As a few of the other reviewers said, it is expensive for the amount of fabric involved. Found it to be a little on the small side and ordered a size larger in anticipation...I was right. Yes it is meant to be worn fitted since the point of it is to hold in the flesh but at the same time most ladies who purchase this would have chunkier arms but it was cut for more of an average arm. The model has thin arms with no cellulite or baggy skin and you really could have used someone it was making a difference to! Maybe would be nice made in a cotton/nylon/lycra blend as it is worn tight on the arms and better for the comfort and health of the armpits! If I am being picky, may be good if a little longer in the body as I noticed with the dress the armholes were quite deep and when I lifted my arms up a little flesh was peeping through - or even a silicone gripper band that worked. Yes and perhaps a dense plainer mesh would be good to go with more things. Maybe a choice of colours would be desirable though black is definitely the most versatile.

Good solution but expensive

I like this top for the purpose it serves (covering the bingo wings) but it is very expensive for an item which is little more than tights for the arms.

Great idea BUT needs to be in black!
Yes, I recommend this
Excellent idea, but the 'neutral' version is just TOO pink a shade. Would be SO much more useful in black - PLEASE stock black!!! I would recommend but only if in black.

I saw this advertised on ITV's Lorraine morning show. This little garment can transform sleeveless dresses and tops. The sleeves are a snug fit, giving arms a toned look. I wore it ballroom dancing; it stayed in place and felt really comfortable. I had lots of compliments on my 'new' outfit and my friends were amazed when I explained it was armwear. I wish M&S would also make it in a plain, sheer material too for a less 'dressy' look.

Saw this on TV. Amazing cover up worn under no sleeve dresses. Looks as though part of the outfit. A must have for any woman. A very snug fit so may need to go up a size. Would highly recommend.

Just what women of my age have been looking for

What a wonderful idea, have tried with a cream and silver dress and it looks good with both! Hate my upper wobbly arms and this is just great for the Christmas party season and will also be fine for cruises!

Great idea - tight fit
Yes, I recommend this
Great idea, no gaping armpits as with another brand I have tried. Went with advise of other reviews and bought up a size as this is a small fit - even allowing for the fact that it is a kind of shape wear. Would buy in black if stock becomes available

What a great item. No more worrying about how my arms look when wearing my thin strap dressess. No more having to use a cardi over a nice dress to hide my arms. Thanks M&S

This is without doubt the best product Marks and Spencer has come up with for a very long time! I was very lucky to bag the last black one in my size ( 14 - I sized up as advised by other reviewers ) I have fairly slim arms and it fits snuggly but this is a good thing because you don't want baggy lace sleeves! Genius!

Not as good as expected
No, I don't recommend this
I was very disappointed ,the fit was OK, but when I put in on under a sleeveless dress there was a gap at the arm hole. Also the garment had a very strange smell like vinegar, it would probably have washed off but as the fit was not as I expected I decided not to risk keeping the garment.

It has been a long wait but at last the arm covering that allows you to wear all the clothes in your wardrobe excellent addition for winter white arms! Please please expand the colour range.

Such a good idea!

I have a short sleeved dress that is too thick a fabric to wear in the summer, but looks a bit mumsy if you add a cardy in the winter. This little top fits underneath and looks as though it is part of the dress. Sized up because of other reviews pointing out the very slim fit of the arms, and this was the right thing to do . It will work with other items too and is great if you are less than happy with showing the tops of your arms. Looks stylish. A bit expensive at full price.

Sizing wrong again
Yes, I recommend this
I bought the crop top in black I am normally a size 12 but after reading the reviews I ordered a size 14 and I am so glad I did. The size 14 was still quite snug so I agree with the previous reviewers go one size up at least.

Make your sleeveless dress more versatile
Yes, I recommend this
So handy to wear under sleeveless dresses as it is delicate enough not to be bulky beneath your garment. The arms are a little short and the lace fine; it won't provide any real warmth. A very handy item though. Buy a size larger than normal.

A great idea that's looks good on. It would be nice to have it in a range of colours including white and burgundy. The arms are a little tighter than expected but it does help to keep the batwings under control!

Fab idea
Yes, I recommend this
I ordered this top as i had a sleeveless evening dress that I wanted to wear but did not want to show off the top of my arms. It is fabulous idea and looks good. I went for the more lacy one so you did not see the seems too much under the arms but i had to go for 2 sizes bigger as the lace was quite tight over the arms.
