Bought as a birthday present. Most of the fruit was in perfect condition and the aroma of fresh fruit filled the air on opening the packaging. However, the pineapple was soft in places and when first cut (only 1 day after delivery) was almost entirely rotten inside with brown and mushy flesh. However, do not let this put you off buying this lovely fruit hamper as everything else was perfect and very tasty. I think I have just been unfortunate on this occasion.

Great variety but half the fruit were unripe

This basket of fruit were given to my husband by friends. He's in hospital and not at all well, but has enjoyed some fruit from time to time, so on paper this was a thoughtful and lovely gift. I haven't told them as it was such a thoughtful gift, but half the fruit was completely unripe (bananas for instance were green). I tried a nectarine because it was ripe, but it was tasteless. The grapes were fine and the tangerines tasty. Three days on the pineapple and mango are still rock hard and the bananas green.
