Landroamer II Waterproof Parka Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1000% The parka zipper is too small. It's too fine for a parka this size and an absolute beast to thread. Additionally, it should also have a second pull to release at the bottom. Aside from that a decent jacket, waterproof with heat retention lining.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received as a Christmas gift. Great materials. Incredibly warm in the negatives. Windproof and water proof. Kept me toasty in -20 wind-chill. Lack of interior pockets and no cinching mechanism at the bottom are disappointing, but otherwise an incredible jacket Does run large. Generally wear a medium and this was a pretty baggy medium.

Warm and cozy. Great fit. Very happy with purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The zipper is a real deal-breaker. It's difficult to zip with bare hands and impossible to operate with gloves on. I've had better zips on cheap windbreakers. And who builds anything today without a "tech" pocket? It also runs large. Other than that, the coat's great. The usual high standard I expect from Columbia. Still, I wish I'd bought something else.

I am really pleased with my new winter coat. It fits perfectly, it’s not bulky, has many useful pockets and is so warm and comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Men's Landroamer II Parka is very light weight, yet the warmest parka I have ever worn. It has plenty of pockets. It is also a very stylish parka. It doesn't feel like being in a sauna.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this coat for a trip to Iceland in winter and it kept me warm throughout. We had super strong winds and snow and I never once felt cold. The zipper could be etter bu it int a dealbreaker for me. It is roomy so I could wear a fleece layer as a mid layer. Love all the pockets. Even kept me dry walking behind a waterfall. Got it on sale too which is a great deal. I’m 5’9 190lbs and medium was perfect.

Fit is poor. Ordered small which is my size, but this jacket runs larger, like a medium. It’s rated as max warmth but it’s very thin. The construction also feels less than the Columbia quality that I’m used to (literally have worn the brand since high school and have had at least 6 different jackets/coats since then). For example, the zipper is feels delicate (my last Columbia jacket had a zipper issue). I want to return it.

I agree with the zipper issue. The jacket itself feels very well made and warm. I usually have a problem with very warm jackets that I feel suffocated or too hot. This one is breathable even when I have it inside or have multiple layers .

This is a good jacket. I love the number of pockets and the easy access to them. No more having to unzip a jacket to get to an inside pocket on a cold day. The fault in this coat is the zipper. It is weak and on a coat this long it should be a two way zipper. The 2nd time I tried to zip up the coat, the zipper split. I can see having to replace it soon! It hasn’t been cold enough to test its warmth but I have had similar gold lined Columbia coats in the past and they always kept me warm.

Fit and finish very good. This is my third Columbia all weather coat. Very disappointed in the lightweight zipper. Not up to Columbia’s standards. Very small and difficult to get zipped. Once zipped, due to the length of the coat, it is necessary to hike it up in order to sit down while avoiding strain on the zipper. I anticipate this to have an early failure. Really miss the inside pocket for billfold or phone.

It arrived on time. Compared to the one I bought at the Outlet mall, this jacket had the omniheat infinity tech that's the best out there. Fits really well, and the removable hood is a welcomed plus! Based on the feel, it definitely will be warm and waterproof. Hopefully it lasts me a good long time!

I especially appreciate the number of exterior pockets, which are super handy for keeping essentials within reach. However, I was a bit disappointed to find there are no interior pockets. It’s a small thing, but I like having a secure inside space for a phone or wallet. Still, if exterior storage and weather protection are your main concerns, this parka does the job really well.
