Kids' Leather School Shoes (8 Small - 1 Large)

I bought these shoes for my son who is almost through his first school year but his feet have suddenly grown. The first pair we bought were great from Clarks, extremely durable. We've had this pair 3 days and I'm horrified, they are actually in a poorer state than the ones we bought last August. Not fit for purpose and nowhere near durable enough for school shoes

We've had this pair 3 days and I'm horrified, they are actually in a poorer state than the ones we bought last August that have been worn every school day until this week and the price difference £2! M&S take these shoes off the shelf they are not fit for purpose, if they were reduced to £1 a pair I wouldn't even buy them.

This is the second pair I bought for my TK. He doesn't want to fix with this one as it so comfy he said and for mum I like the style.

Last year's school shoes were from M&S and were fantastic, so bought again this year, but am thoroughly disappointed. I had to buy a size up to allow a little growing room, otherwise they wouldn't last five minutes. They very quickly looked like they'd been through the wars, and despite the same care routine as all our other shoes, they always look a bit scruffy.

Bought for nephew. Great fitting and comfortable shoe. Looks nice and has worn well over the last couple of months.

Purchased these for my 4 year old son for school. After one week the shoes were showing significant signs of wear. After two weeks the stitching was going and the leather had worn through with a hole in one of the shoes! Had to buy new. Very Disappointing.

I thought these shoes looked lovely, sturdy and durable. My son, who is 4, also really liked them. A good buy I thought. However, he has just finished his second day at school and the shoes are ruined. The leather has gone through completely at the toes. I really would think twice before you buy.

1st pair of school shoes - usually go to Clarks but thought I'd try m&s. These shoes look really smart and more importantly, my son said they were really comfortable. The soft part at the heel is a really good idea and look like they will last well. Very pleased and also great price.

Lovely, sturdy looking shoes but beware, there is no allowance for growth as there is with Start Rite and Clarks. I ordered a 9 as that's what my son was measuring on Start Rite gauge, however his toes were right at the end of these so I had to return and order 10 which were perfect. Cannot comment on durability but materials and construction look and feel of good quality.

Very sturdy chunky shoes for school. Really please. These will be really durable, and will cope well I'm sure with scuffs and slips!

I love these shoes got them for my son last year and again for this year they are very smart looking only problem I have is they only go to a size 1 so he won't be able to get them next year
