These are solid! Bought as a first pair of shoes for secondary school for my young man who prefers rip tape to laces. They might take a bit of wearing in, but I'm hoping he'll grow out of them rather than them disintegrating like all his other shoes!

I had high hopes for these shoes. Smart, comfortable and excellent choice for a school shoe. However, they broke within a few weeks with the sole coming away from the rest of the shoe. This absolutely should not have happened after only being worn a few times. Unfortunately too late to return. I was very disappointed as we have previously had a good experience of Marks and Spencer shoes in terms of durability.
