Love this cleanser. It gives a squeaky clean feeling however very gentle and does not dry out skin. I have an oily combination skin type and this cleanser helps to balance it and keeps the pores very clean. I would highly recommend to try it,

The missing piece to my regime!

Having used 3-Step for 27 years, and now being 51 and work requires I commute into the smoky city, I've been feeling there's something missing... Found it! Thank goodness. Now some dislike skin feeling tight, I love it. Following it up with a dollop of moisture surge night mask, completely resets my skin. My confidence has gone "Whoop!"

Doesn't remove makeup

Waste of money, the soap doesn't remove mascara, eyeshadows or even foundation properly. With non-sulphate formula you are creating a not effective product. I would rather have a product that works

I was a bit uncertain about ordering this cleanser as some reviews say it left there skin dry and even though I have oily acne prone skin, as I have gotten older my skin tends to be more dry in certain areas. I found this to do exactly what it claims in the description non-drying and non stripping. Removed all last traces of makeup, no new break-outs, and I LOVE the pink packaging. Well done Clinique, I have found a new favourite! Tip- works best when applied to a wet face

I had used this product for over a year, I have very sensitive skin and anything can make it break out, this cleanser I could use a small amount everyday. Left my skin soft and smooth and no break outs. I ordered a new one and it came in new packaging I checked the ingredients on the back they are the same. Used as I usually would skin felt tight and dry and It broke out I have contact dermatitis and have exhausted Clinique's range with cleansers and moisturisers. There must have been a change in mix of ingredients not just in change of packaging? Unfortunately a very dissatisfied customer.

This should not effect the skin and the performance of the product. Please contact this department on 0800 074 6905.
The best cleanser and makeup remover ever

I have used this for years and any time i've tested anything else it just doesn't live up to it. It effectively removes all makeup and leaves skin and pores looking very clean. It also makes you feel lovely and clean too with no irritation or redness. It foams up incredibly well. I have oily skin prone to acne, using this as a simple part of my cleansing routine keeps problems at bay. I will never use anything else. 100% recommend :)

I am in my sixties and have very dry combination skin and use this cleanser every 1-2 weeks with the Clinique electric brush. It wonderfully removes all accumulated skin flakes, evens dark spots and eliminates emerging blackheads within five minutes. I follow up with milky gentle toner and a rich nourishing night cream. Perfect. A larger sized tube would be good to have.

I bought a big bottle of this, as I was told it was perfect for my skin type. As much as it removes make up very well, it also leaves my skin very tight. Waste of money in my opinion.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. The Rinse Off Foaming Cleanser is suited to a dry combination skin type, I would recommend to use a small amount. Once you have removed your makeup you can then clean the skin with our custom fit facial soap and follow with the 3 step to leave the skin more comfortable. Please visit Clinique Live Chat for further advice on skin care and also there will be a makeup remover for the skin to help with the dryness too.
Far too effective for an older skin

As others have said, it certainly removes make-up but then it leaves the skin feeling tight and de-moisturised. The idea of following it up with anything but a generous dollop of Step 3 of the recommended 3-Step is too scary to contemplate.

Thank you leaving your feedback Rosy. This foaming cleanser does suit a dry/combination skin type and when using you don't need to use too much as it foams really well to remove makeup however not eye makeup. The skin will feel extremely smooth and then you would follow with the appropriate 3 step for your individual Skin Type. We have a wide range of cleanser for all skin types please visit Live Chat where we will be happy to help.
HOLY GRAIL

The holy grail of face washes. I've tried washes from cheap brands that you can buy in Boots to the likes of Lancôme, Creme de la Mer etc & they all fail in comparison. ~a small amount lathers into a thick silky & velvety cream ~dramatically reduces acne ~it's removed all acne, whiteheads & blackheads from my forehead, I don't have anything except super smooth skin there now. ~it removes the thickest of foundations, concealers & powders in one wash. I've battled horrific acne since age 13, I'm 32 now so a 19 year long battle but this is the only wash that has actually helped. Due to endometriosis/pcos/stress & anxiety causing cystic acne on my cheeks I still suffer with acne on my cheeks but it's gone from looking like I've chicken pox constantly to a few red cystic acne marks thanks to this. It's never dried my skin out as I always moisturise. I wash with this (last week I added the Anti Blemish Gel Wash into the mix), use Anti Blemish Clarifying Lotion afterwards, hydrate with Dramatically Different Gel & Moisture Surge Replenishing Hydrator & then use the Anti Blemish Clearing Moisturiser followed by the Clinique Smart SPF 15 day cream & finally I apply City Block SPF 40. At night I do all of the above but replace the SPF's with Turnaround Overnight, Smart Night & the Custom Repair Serum. No Clinique product has ever made my skin/acne worse, they've only helped it & when I say I've battled acne I mean battled, not like these people that think that five spots is a battle I mean whole face, covered! I was prescribed Roaccutane, Oxytetracycline, Lymecycline, Retin A, Isotretinex, Duac etc. I've tried it all & Clinique is all that has ever helped & worked for my acne. Still in progress as I've got hyperpigmentation & scars to contend with (thanks to trying various different brands with awful results before converting full time to Clinique) but hopefully I'll get there. I wish I'd used Clinique full time 19 years ago when I first tried it & not part time

I received a sample of this when I purchased some other Clinique items and I absolutely LOVE it!!!!! I don't use it everyday, only because I'm super lazy and use my Anti Redness Cleanser by Clinique as I don't need to use water. But I do love this cleanser. It removes makeup effortlessly, and my skin has never felt so smooth until after using this. A very small amount goes a long way so my sample will probably last me ages (as I don't use it daily) but it really is such a treat to use. I will definitely be purchasing the full sized tube the I run out.

My skin is dry during winter and tends to get oily in the T-zone in the summer time. I have been using this face wash for over three years now and I absolutely love it!! It doesn't break me out and takes of all of my make-up. In addition, you really only need to use a small amount thus, the product lasts a long time.

This product is terrible! I went into my local Clinique store to purchase a new cleaners as the one I was using wasn't really helping my skin, I spoke to the sales person and explained I was getting break outs around my chin area and I needed something to help reduce it, She recommends using this cleanser as it would help reduce the redness and clear the spots! Well it's made my face 10 times worse getting spots where I never had them before. it also made my skin feel really dry after washing, you can actually feel it's taking all the natural oils from your face (I don't have oily skin for a start). I'm really disappointed with Clinique as it's not cheap to buy either. I don't feel like I will be using their products again as this is the second time I have used somthing from there and I've been really disappointed. I never usually write reviews but I do look at them before I buy anything, most of the reviews were good for this product Sadlly this was not the case. I know everybody's skin type is different but I would say it's not natural for your face to feel like that after washing and for it to look even worse than it did to start with.

I started using this cleanser after discovering my three step cleansing soap wasn't designed to remove make-up. This product is amazing from removing the daily make-up to the extra layers applied for a night out. It also removes mascara and eyeliner instantly without any irritation and it does not leave skin dry after, but rather silky and smooth.

This is the best make up wash I have ever used and I've been using it for years now. It doesn't take off eye make up, but it takes off the rest of your makeup so well leaving your face squeaky clean.. Literally! Makes your face feel so fresh like you've thoroughly cleaned your face, when really all you need is a tiny bit and then you have a lovely clean face!
