I bought this lamp for our living room in an area where there was no power source nearby. I loved the striking stripes on the body and the shade, it fits perfectly in the room. The lamp has three light settings that put a nice ambient light into the room, ideal for layering with other low level lights t create a warm atmosphere. Charge time is short, we use the lamp a couple of hours in the evenings and charge about once a week
