Jersey Spot Print Midi Skirt

Tried to buy this skirt at full price in two separate stores because I loved it. Nice quality and a useful shape. However both skirts had very uneven hems ie some folds longer than the others - very irritating so didn't buy. Then you had your half price sale. I took a chance and ordered one online. It arrived perfect! Delighted.

Bought for next summer as it will go with all my black tops. Only problem was getting right size.It is huge on the waist and the 16 and 18 were far to big despite my measurements being M&S size 18,so for the first time ever I had to buy a 14.the length on me is mid calf and I am 5ft 6 in.All the skirts in my store were the same length.

Oh dear. I really wanted to like this skirt. I loved the waistband, the weight of the material, the colour and the pattern. I really wanted this to be my fave skirt of the season. However, it was far, far too wide by the time it reached the hem and it swirled frumpily from my hips to around my legs. There was just too much material in the lower third of the skirt. I tried to work out where lay the problem - I think it is because the skirt has three 'panels' - one at the front (side to side) and two at the back (side to middle x 2) therefore it does not hang in quite the same way that would a skirt with more panels, I loved the shades of the print, navy and a pinkish-terracotta but do note (if this is important to you) that it does not go through to the underside of the garment which shows as an off-white. This skirt does have good points but sadly it wasn't for me and I returned it.

Well-fitting style in lovely colourway/beautifully hanging fabric. Another "bravo" and thanks that M&S are now giving us older ladies well-fitting styles in lovely colour choices after a plethora of lack of styles unsuitable for anyone other than a "fashion dolly" in their 20's. I feel strongly this is the turnaround in ladies fashion that will return M&S to where it belongs - the top!!! More colourways, please...……….. May I just point out (constructively) that online ordering showed length choices as "standard" and "long" but the item descriptions gave the same length for both length options!!! Both lengths were on show in-store when I visited 2 weeks later - displayed separately as "standard" and "long" lengths BUT despite the inside labels being separately marked as "standard" and "long" I found ALL the items were exactly the same length!!!!

Love this skirt. Pull on and wide elastic. Great for my sensitive skin which is currently allergic to zippers! Really great for everyday wear, can be dressed up or down and is soft and comfortable. Lovely neutral pattern and great length. More colours please- navy pattern, jewel colours, plain black or navy, flowery cheerful pattern. Hoping this is made in more colours for Christmas please.

Liked the skirt. Perfect length. But there is no underlining for the skirt that is the only thing apart from that skirt is perfect. Planning to wear it over summer.
