I liked this skirt and the style too, however, once on, because it is SO flared, it does add weight in my opinion. It's around the hip area that it isn't too flattering, especially as the pockets add a little bit of bulk too. Comes up true to size but there was just too much material around my hips to be flattering on me as although I'm a size 8-10 in M&S, I'd have to be a stick for this to be flattering. Added to that I wanted the top to match but that was sold out. Had to return mine, which was a shame as I wanted something in this sort of style, but with a better and more flattering fit.

A really odd cut

This looks great in the pictures but sits very differently when on. Tight around the waist but the pockets make my hips look huge. I'm usually a size 10 in m&s but even the 12 was tight. Returned.

This skirt is a lovely colour and fabric, and on the right woman could look terrific......and that woman is not me. I know most M&S models are size 8 and 5' 11", so typical of the rest of us, right? Yeah right. On me, this skirt just made me look like I was standing in a ditch. There's a fine line between stylish and dowdy. And this skirt was on the wrong side of dowdy on me. Returned.

I popped into Limited just to see what they had in and this skirt immediately caught my eye. The colour, the material, the style are absolutely gorgeous and it fits me beautifully. I love the 'swish' and the pockets - super stylish! It's also very versatile and I can dress it up or down. A wardrobe favourite of mine already!

Your designers are really hitting the spot this season. This skirt caught my eye, along with the asymmetric skirt. I wasn't sure , so ordered both thinking one would be going back. Needless to say they are both staying. I am pear shaped, so this is my ideal skirt shape. I ordered 14, although my hips are 16, and it fits beautifully . The colour is lovely, there are concealed pockets on the hips, but the weight of the material means that it hangs just right ( and looks like it does on the model, even on me!) I was worried that the material might look a little cheap, but the texture gives it a bit more interest. In my mind I am already teaming it up with so many tops and jumpers. Now reduced in price , so pick up a bargain while it is in stock.

This skirt is a simple A-line in a very light fabric, which would not keep the hottest person warm! The fabric looks and feels like Crimplene and the colour is a bit odd, not a definite red or even raspberry. Not a good winter's skirt, but too nylon for the summer! Looks rather cheap.

WHY put pockets at the widest point of women's hips? They stick out unattractively. I'm sorry but they ruined the line so I have returned the skirt. Very disappointing, as usual M&S have got it half right. The fabric, colour and cut are good, but for me the addition of pockets makes it unwearable.
