I love these boots, they are so comfortable and supportive and a bargain in the sale. I needed some good walking boots that weren't leather and these are perfect. I haven't checked their waterproofness yet but very happy with them. I vary in shoe size between a 5.5 and a 6 but the 6 is a good spacious fit with room for thick walking socks when needed.

I bought these in the sale and had I paid the full price I would have been disappointed. They are light and waterproof but the collar around the ankle is quite stiff and will need to be worn in.

It is a good boot. It really holds the feet strong on munros, much better than the flexible sole shoes for safety reason. Wider than the Samaris. Need one size bigger for comfort. It's very breathable, no sweat. I recommend it to munro walkers. It's a must need for the higher, stony parts of the munros with it's stiff sole, but not comfortable to wear on tarmac road.
