The Wide-Leg Jeans

Really soft and comfy - bought them in three colours

Took me ages to find a pair of wide leg jeans in M & S where the sizing was correct. Still had to size up from a 10 to 12 and I've always been a 10. However these jeans are smart and comfy. Not washed yet but sure they'll be fine. I bought 12R and I'm 5'2"

Short length is perfect with flats as a 5ft 2 person.

Although the fit and shape of the jeans are good, the dye quality is not. After only a couple of washes the black has started to fade, and a thin vertical line where the dye has almost disappeared has appeared on each leg. If not for that, I would have given 5 stars.

I would give them 5 Stars but their sizing is so inconsistent. The first pair I got was perfect so ordered two more in different colours. They were too tight and a noticeable difference in height . Poor quality control. If you find a pair that fits , it’s brilliant for the price.

I wasn’t sure if wide legged jeans would be right for my 5ft 2 frame. However, the petite fit, high rise and close fit on hips makes them look and feel great. Lots of compliments for the sage colour too. The flowing fabric has been great in this hot spell

They perfect! Not too wide but wide enough to have that seventies vibe. Super comfy and can be dressed up or down. Got them in 5 colours! Absolute winning jeans for me.

Firstly - love the jeans and their quality. The short fit was just about okay (I’m 5.1), although slightly long. But the waist sizing? M&S what have you done? I had the same style jeans last season in a 12, and ordered 12 and 14 this year on the basis of reviews and general social media comments re the shrinking sizes. The size 12 were a good 2-4 inches less around the waste than my size 12s from last year. Are you trying to give your customers a complex M&S?! My advice is order up a size from usual and think nothing of it as the sizing is clearly out.

Usual size was far too small. No one wants to buy clothes that are one or two sizes bigger than normal. This puts me off shopping in M&S now The jeans are a good shape and a nice colour after you've finally found a size that fits.

I ordered two pairs of these jeans in different colourways. The indigo was way too small, whereas the light wash was fine. I'd say I'm usually a size 8 short length in M&S jeans, but these are much tighter, and the length is shorter than their usual makes. I'm generally a 27 small in other brands. They're fine but won't be my favourite jeans. The fabric is a bit stiff and a bit too short in the rise for my liking. Maybe order a size up.

They’re probably nice jeans, but are too small - smaller than my other M&S jeans and smaller than my jeans which are a smaller size from places like FatFace and White Stuff. Doesn’t make you feel great.

Have had these Jeans before in black and light blue denim - chose this green pair for summer . The fabric feels slightly lighter weight than my previous pairs but this doesn’t detract from the quality and style.
