High Waisted Straight Leg Jeans

These jeans fit well and look smart and good value for money

These jeans are well made and a good weight fabric. They are also a nice colour. I gave 4 stars because after wearing M and S jeans for many decades in my usual size that is a 10 these I could not get the zip done up.I haven't gained weight so I can only guess that the sizing has changed. I had also tried the same jeans in store with the same result. My next step will be to go up a size.

These jeans are really nice and I like the fit and fabric. The lyocell in the fabric makes them soft and gives them some stretch. I am 5ft 5 and have a 29 inch inside leg and I found the regular length just right. I normally buy short but based on reviews ordered regular. I like the high waist and the ocean colour is a mid blue wash so perfect for all seasons. A really good purchase.

These are NOT straight leg jeans as they used to be. I expect straight leg jeans to skim down from my bottom and not wrinkle like slim leg versions. They just don't look smart. For short legs like mine wide versions visually shorten the leg even more. I tried three different styles but as a long term M& S customer I'm disappointed to return the items and having to look elsewhere.

Great jeans material very soft but jeans hold their shape

Actually fit in my usual size (a 12) - in other jeans i have had to size up at M&S.

The latest bought in a so-far unending quest to find successors to a worn out loved pair of soft Per Una jeans. So many bought and tried on across M&S ranges, so many returned - too long, too short, too tight, too loose. Upped the spend, as these sounded as if they'd do the job. The nominated date delivery was delayed, I told my partner the wait was for yet another pair that didn't fit. Wrong! They fit closely at the hip, are soft, stretch and straight leg allows easy movement. Would've been absolutely perfect had the high waist been truly high - mid I'd say, gaping a bit at the back as a result - and had the label been sewn in without uneven white thread visible on the outer side of the waistband giving an impression of less than £50 attention to detail. Really helpful reading the reviews - normally 12-14, ordered 14 and, at 5'2" wanting longer than ankle grazer, went for Regular length.

Love these jeans. I am normally a size 12 but ordered a 14 due to reviews and they are perfect. Just hope they don’t shrink in the wash as only just long enough. (I ordered regular and i am 5’4)

GOOD FIT BUT LEG LENGTH NOT THE SAME AS OTHER M&S JEANS. BOUGHT LONG BECAUSE OTHER REVIEWS SAID THEY WERE ONLY JUST ANKLE LENGTH SO REGULAR WOULD NOT BE SUITABLE. I AM 5' 7" I DO HAVE LONG LEGS SO THESE WERE JUST RIGHT WHEREAS LONG IN OTHER M&S JEANS TOO LONG. RETURNING BECAUSE THE COLOUR IS TOO LIGHT FOR ME. WISH THEY CAME IN INDIGO.

Bought and loved but after a few hours, not so great. Far too much give and at the price, was expecting so much more. Thought they were a quality Jean but sadly they aren’t Personally I think with the give, I’d have sized down if I’d known

These autograph ‘jeans’ are the premium end of the M&S offering for denim wear. The jeans are not denim but a mixed cotton and largely synthetic blend. The ‘aged’ finish is very unconvincing and in the standard length are quite short 28” inside leg. The less expensive jeans ranges are far better value. I dyed them a darker colour and will wear them in the garden!
