A flourish of rich, ripe Aussie aromas herald this four-grape blend – which then tumbles onto the palate with apples, mulberries, blackcurrant, vanilla, spicy red fruits, coffee and chocolate. Layers of fresh fruit flavour underpinned by a buzz of cinnamon tannin make this wine utterly approachable and at the same time devastatingly moreish.
With a host of accolades to its name this red is a triumphant blend of two well-loved grapes and two lesser known stars with plenty of dash and dare of their own. Dolcetto brings bright fruitiness and Lagrein rugged pepperiness. With all the juicy flavours and freshness typical of a wine made by Ben Glaetzer, this red also benefits from the fine terroir of the Limestone Coast and Langhorne Creek – regions renowned for some of Australia’s most elegant red wines.

Full bodied, rich red
Yes, I recommend this
We drink wine with dinner most evenings and are always on the lookout for reasonable quality full-bodied reds, as this one is. Very good value at 25% off! Nice balance of fruit and tannin, decent finish.
