A strange mix for a hamper

Bought this as a housewarming gift. I’m not sure I would have pad the full price for it as you can buy the individual items for much less but it was on offer so that made it better. I’m also not sure I would include cleaning products with biscuits, chocolates and Prosecco. Maybe M&S should do a home cleaning hamper basket and keep it separate from sweet and alcohol treats. The shortbread tin in the picture is not the same as the one in the hamper. The recipient seemed pleased with the gift.

I bought this hamper as a belated housewarming gift for my son and his partner and they absolutely loved it. All of the cleaning products were appreciated because the ones they were using were on the verge of running out, the hamper itself meant they finally had the laundry basket they needed and the chocolates, wine etc were lovely treats for the two of them.

It’s difficult to see what it will look like as I didn’t like to dismantle the packaging too much as it’s a present. The basket looks nice but I was disappointed that it doesn’t come as the hamper it is advertised as. By that I mean there is a box of tea and chocolates laid on the top and the other things look to be wrapped up underneath. So the recipient will have to put it together- not my idea of a perfect hamper.
