How to Use: Place soap into the shaving bowl, rapidly swirl a damp brush around the soap to generate a creamy lather.

I don’t recommend, purchased as a gift and after only 2 uses, the brush fell apart so had to return, sad as last brush lasted for years and was thrown away as soon as new one was received :(

I purchased this for my husband as he had mentioned many times about one of these. He was over the moon. A really good quality set for the money & the shaving bowl is a good size & the shaving soap smells nice I can’t say how it lathers as his not yet used it , but would definitely recommend even the shaving brush feels soft

No, I don't recommend this
The soap dish in this set is ruined. M&S felt the need to put sticky tape over both sides to seal the lid to the dish. It took forever to get to remove the tape and now I'm left with a horrible sticky residue on both the lid and the dish. Awful. I've tried to revive it with hot soapy water, and then methylated spirits to no avail. I wouldn't recommend this set to anyone for that reason
