Good Grips Utility Cutting Board

I love Oxo products. I purchased this cutting board, as I did not always want to hand wash my wooden one, and wanted an easy to clean, dishwasher safe cutting board. But, the first time I used it, the knife (a small paring knife) caused deep scratches in the surface. I did not even use it with my chef's knife. I would have thought that the material for this board would be more durable and not scratch so easily. This is disappointing and a waste of money.

I have had this cutting board for over a year and it’s still in great condition no matter how much I chop and cut on it. OXO never disappoints!

The board is a great size but the surface is too slippery. The knife slips, and, even with a wet paper towel under it, the board itself moves constantly.

Well constructed and easy to use. Oxo always ahead of the curve.

I’ve been wanting an OXO board for a while, ever since I saw it being used in certain cooking channels on YouTube. Plus, I wanted to try a different material other than my old bamboo cutting board.

We've been using these boards for about 6 months now and we have thrown them out. The plastic comes off when we use them and it's become so bad that we found numerous pieces in a salad. The boards (we bought the small, regular and large sizes) are quite fuzzy from the soft plastic pieces. Feels the the soft side of Velcro. . . . I do not recommend purchasing these. Unfortunately, switching back to a wood board means bacteria and a glass or stainless steel board means knives will dull faster. I think we we will use the wood for veg and get one steel board for meats.

Strong and doesn’t move when in use. Good quality. I only use this for meat preparation although it is double-sided so if you want to prepare vegetables as well you can. I’m very pleased with this board.

Bought it for my daughter, she loves it as both sides can be used, and it’s dishwasher safe she loves the groves around the edges as it catches and liquids.

i’ve been a long time user of OXO cutting boards (and everything else OXO). i was not happy when these arrived and i found that the edges of these boards are very sharp, not rounded like the old ones. BUT…. . i got over that very quickly when i used them and found the little feet do a great job from keeping the board from sliding. so, thank you. (and for future versions, please consider rounding the edges again)

I used the cutting board for the first time today. The scratches from the knife (which is not particularly sharp) are deep and numerous. The new OXO cutting board is now worse than the one I threw away that it replaced. The other two cutting boards that I ordered are to be Christmas gifts. The boards won’t last long. Disappointing.

Nice size, sturdy and well thought out. I have the smaller size too. Very useful and easy to store. Saves your worktop. Keeps it looking nice.
