Glycerin 23 Running Trainers

Not a good fit for me. I tried the Ghost too and still not my favorite. You discontinued the Levitates and they were the absolute best fit for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the Glycerin 21s and 22s and had zero complaints, and I have just tried the 23s. After an 8 hour shift my arches are in a lot of pain. Not sure what changes might have caused this but I’m sad because I was so happy with the older versions.

I have been wearing Brooks Glycerin for 20 years, and I loved them. The 23 model was terrible- there was a hard material at the toe that made them very uncomfortable. I can't understand why Brooks would change this sneaker like that. Will have to find another brand to wear unless they go back to the original construction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a difference wearing a new pair of Glycerin 23. My feet feel like they have pillows under them. I love them.

I have run in Ghosts for many years, but the last few versions have not worked well for me. The Ghost 18 are particularly bad--this version comes up high in the back and bothers my Achilles tendon. So I decided to try Glycerins. And I like everything about the Glycerin 23s, except these too rub one of my Achilles tendons in a very painful way. When I go back to wearing my other running shoes (old Ghost 16s), my heel/tendon feels ok, when I wear the Glycerins, the pain flares. So I'm returning these and going back to the drawing board.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brooks made some good improvements on the 23s compared to the 22. While still too early to tell, I'm hoping the outside has better life than my 22s did. The amount of cushioning is nice and it's not too much where you may feel unstable. Good responsiveness on the run and a nice weight. Been enjoying running in them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brooks does it again. I previously rotated with another brand. I am 100% Brooks now. Brook is reliable on their models. I don't necessarily need the changes and upgrades (I don't think!) but I can count on them every time. Like a Honda car :) PS The colors are great. I always have many choices in multiple colors. Big fan.
