Design flaw
No, I don't recommend this
I like the quality but this seems to have a design flaw; the zip always gets stuck just under the waistband and it is very hard to pull it up to the top. Once it is up, it's very difficult to pull down again. One also has to be very careful that skin doesn't get caught within the zip when wearing it and wanting to take it off. The skirt is also rather tight and my daughter doesn't want to wear it anymore because she says it is too tight even though she is a normal size and the rest of the skirt's sizing seems fine.

Great skirt but dodgy zips

Bought 3 of these skirts. One a couple of months back but seems there is an issue with the zip. It gets stuck 3/4 of the way up. It’s a struggle to zip to the top for an adult so no chance of my 8 year old doing it! Otherwise a great skirt hence the mark down.

My daughter loves this skirt. It’s hard to get things to fit her as she is 7 but tall for her age and needs age 11-12 clothing so an adjustable waist is a must for us

Impossible zip

We bought this 3-pack of school skirts for the beginning of the new school year. The seam is sewn too tightly to the zip at the top so my daughter can't pull the zip up or down herself without assistance - very frustrating for a 9 year old. After one half term of struggling with the zips, one has already broken and I think I will either need to replace all the zips myself or buy a new set of skirts. Neither value for money nor environmentally friendly.

Great skirt, I ordered 11-12 for my very tall slim/athletic built 9 year old daughter. The skirt reaches or skims her knees but the waist was very large. Using the the adjustable bands this fit very well. She loves it.

See through school skirt

Bought this skirt for my daughter starting school. 90% of her school uniform last year came from M&S, everything was amazing quality, better quality for the same price as other super markets. This year the skirt is see through as the material is extremely thin. Ok for winter as she will be wearing tights but certainly not for summer

Lovely flippy skirt but the waist is far too small. We normally have to adjust age 7 clothes to make the waists a lot smaller but we could barely get the zip fastened on this. Such a shame.

Bought M&S Uniforms for years. This year this sizing is all wrong and unnecessary zips added. Very disappointing. My Daughter was horrified that she needed a 12-13 to give her room at the waist, but it looked ridiculous across her hips/length. Bought her age 10 from Sainsbury’s and it fits perfect.
