Girls' Longer Length Pleated Pinafore

Very smart. My granddaughter had one at the beginning of term. They wanted a spare and felt with winter arriving a pinafore would keep her warmer. She loves it, and the butterfly design on the zip. Would be nice if the pinafores had pockets to put a hanky. Her skirt does have a pocket. All trousers appear to have pockets. Just an observation.

I bought size 6-7 for my 5 year old, who is slim, and a little bit taller. I bought the regular size in the size above last year. They are very durable, and look in great condition. The length of this is slightly long, but it will hopefully last a bit longer. The chest width is a little bit snug, making it a bit difficult to get on.

Both my children are tall (and slim) for their age so finding clothes to fit width ways but not be too short has always been a challenge. To get the length I have been having to size up by 1/2 ages meaning huge width or gathering in! Thank you M&S for recognising that children come in all shapes and sizes for their age! Nice style and quality too.

The length is quite long but was surprised that the width on the bodice area is still wide. I thought these longer length pinafores were meant to get rid of the issue of buying bigger sizes to obtain the correct length for taller children? Bought size 10-11 but perhaps I should have bought 9-10.

My daughters is 5 years old but 122cm tall. This dress is prefect. She wears 5-6 size but I already bought size up Lovely long good quality pinafore.

Good style for my kids. If only marks would make this longer length dress in navy!

Fabulous hard wearing school dress. Perfect for my daughter who is very tall but slim. My daughter is autistic so the fact it is comfortable, doesn't have any buttons and its not too fitted anywhere is perfect! We have many of these and she always looks smart.

My 5 year old’s standard length skirts and pinafores are slightly too short - she won’t get enough wear out of them, but the 6-7 pinafores are a bit too baggy on her. This dress fills that gap perfectly. It’s easy enough for her to put on and take off by herself, so perfect for PE days, and washes well.

1 year on these look as good as new. Excellent quality and very durable material, doesn’t crease so no ironing required which is a bonus! Only drawback is that my daughter 4.5 years found it tricky to remove herself because of the narrow fit - this had more to do with her age than the pinafore. Go ahead and BUY it!!

The longer length is perfect for taller people and looks very smart on.
