Lovely trousers as my daughter loves the detail (now missing from all in store ones) ordered on line as no longer available in our local store (no choice of trousers at all!) ..I assumed they were the same as previously ordered. .but no theyve been changed...gone down the narrow route as everything else... .they were lovely as slightly bootleg and were definitely longer ...M&S seems to think children grow out rather than just up ..the waists are big on everything but the leg or skirt lengths hardly change at all !! please M&S on each age add at least 3cm to length and not so much on waists...you already do a larger " range .

i bought size 6-7 for my tall 6 year old. The length is perfect for her. they were very roomy around the waist, and fit comfortably once adjusted. my daughter loves them and has gotten many positive comments from friends,even though she is the only girl in the school that wears trousers. My only gripe is that girls uniform trousers aren't in stock in any of the stores and the cost of shipping really brings the price up.

My Grandaughter is nearly seven but tall and slim. Bought two pairs of these in size 8-9 and 9-10 and have to return both. I didn't mind that each would have to be cut down in the leg and resewn but there is insufficient length between crutch and waist. I have to wonder who models these before then go on general release. Quite surprised to will now head to Matalan where, for some reason, the fit is so much better.
