1st timer

1st time for me to own a pair of Brooks shoes. I have wide feet and was concerned about the fit. but was pleasantly surprised how well they fit. I'm not a runner but like trail shoes for walking around in the woods and on country trails. Not the most aggressive ones I have had though. Not too many other color choices except for gray, which I'm not too big of a fan of. At this point, they're a decent shoe.

Ghost trail shoes 4

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent shoe for everyday use. Especially good for long periods of standing and walking on hard tile and concrete floors for work all day. Fits true to size with orthotics and cotton socks.Cushioning is just right not too soft but firm enough for support for someone with flat feet who wears orthotics and is over 60

Ghost trail runner shoe for older adults
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought four pairs in the past six months. Excellent shoe for someone who wears orthotics, has low back pain from a great deal of standing on tile and concrete floors everyday at work for the past 35 years. I highly recommend these shoes for indoor and outdoor wear. They are not waterproof, but do have the right amount of cushion for someone who does not want a shoe to soft. They fit true to size with regular cotton socks. If I was still running I would highly recommend these for trail running

Tongue tied

Super comfy, but the tongue did not fully cover my foot, which is why I returned them.

So nice, I bought it twice.

Forefoot/toebox room better than the Cascadia 20, but still too narrow.
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had tried the Cascadia 20 before returning them due to a narrow forefoot/toebox and Brooks recommended this Ghost Trail because of its wider forefoot/toebox. I can honestly say that the forefoot/toebox is a little bit wider with a little more room, but still does not allow any toe splay at all with my forefoot/toes still feeling cramped. Cascadia 20 rear and midfoot fit and midsole cushioning is definitely superior to the Ghost Trail.

Just okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good lucking shoe, and comfortable for the most part except for the upper laces. There may be a bit of a design flaw. I find that upper is too wide, and the tongue is too narrow. The last two eyelets have a large gap between the upper and tongue allowing the laces to make contact with the sock/foot creating friction spots as there is no tongue or upper to protect your foot. If they fixed that these would get a higher rating.

First time, Brooks Customer, extremely comfortable shoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience with Brooks shoes. And I’m very pleasantly surprised on how comfortable they truly are. I love the style and the fact that they’re offered in wide. This is the reason why I chose to give them a try. These shoes are rated as stable. I can’t wait to try the plush. I highly recommend this product.

Brooks Ghost Trtail

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the Ghost Trailtack on 6/4/2026. Typically, I wear an 8 shoe size. With Brooks shoes I wear an 8.5. This is my 3rd Brooks shoe. All are 8.5 shoe size. The Ghost Trail is probably the most comfortable shoe I have purchased in many years. Excellent support and comfort. I mid July 2026 I was on a Canadian fishing trip and I stood off and on for over 5 hours with no foot discomfort. On 7/7/2026 I hiked up Twin Creek Trail to Twin Peaks. This is near Winter Park ski area in Colorado. The climb was approximately 1900 feet in elevation gain in 2.4 miles. Absolutely, no foot pain, no blisters. These shoes rock. If your feet fit Brooks shoes I would highly recommend this model.

Best Ghost shoe by far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have own the Ghost 15, but the new Ghost Trail is so much better. The fit and comfort level is much more superior than the Ghost 15. The color combinations makes it an attractive shoe also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm trying the Ghost Trail runners for the first time, and so far I'm impressed. I usually buy Cascadias, but I like the look of the Ghosts better and have even been wearing them casually. I also took them on my first hike, and they performed great with no issues. One theory I have is that trail runners may actually be a good option for heavier runners, even on pavement. When the lugs contact hard surfaces like concrete, they seem to compress and deform just a bit before fully gripping. It's almost like the tiny amount of natural forward movement your foot gets on dirt or sand, except controlled enough that you never actually feel like you're slipping. It's not extra cushioning. It feels like the impact is spread out over a fraction of a second instead of stopping instantly, and to me that makes the landing feel a little smoother.

Brilliant Choice in running shoes
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are amazingly perfect! They are light as can be and make running feel effortless and help to give you an added bounce off your heel strike with all the cushion! If I had to say one improvement, they need the extra lace loop to help store your laces. This feature on other Brooks I owned has changed the way I look at shoes now! This needs to become standard across the board ha ha ha! Thank you Brooks for a wonderful pair of sneakers and for being a part of my running journey!

Great Shoe - A Little Smaller Than Usual
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in the PNW, I wanted a shoe that was a balance between being an athletic fit, having grip for our wet PNW days, and having a more casual look than a typical running shoe. These have been absolutely great. They’re comfortable and casual enough to wear around the office, and I absolutely love the ebony colorway. I have low back issues, and the firmness of these shoes has been very helpful. My main gripe with these is that they are slightly narrower and shorter than my Gylcerins and Cascadias. If I were to use these running, I would maybe size up a half size, but I also haven’t worn these enough to know how much they’ll break in. But, for casual everyday office use, the size has been fine. Also, I’m not sure why the tongues are not gusseted. I have high arches, and, paired with these somewhat narrow tongues, I sometimes can see my socks around the side of the tongue because of how much they get pressed up and become somewhat bunched together. Overall, I’ve been really happy with this shoe!
