Ghost Max 3 Running Trainers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brooks MAX 3's are fantastic! They have extremely comfortable cushioning, but the heels are not as high as some brands and I believe provide better support for the back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two pairs of Ghost MAX 3's; and they are the most comfortable shoes I've worn. I am a retired nurse and wish I'd had the MAX 3's while working in hospital. I recommend slightly longer shoelaces because a knot is needed or the laces become undone when walking. I have read Brooks history and they know feet!

I returned these shoes because the soles squeaked loudly when I walked in them. I liked how they looked so that was very disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The support was good but the toe width was not I miss the 3 year old Ghosts. The Ghost Max was not a good fit.

Purchased Max 3 on sale & Max 4 at the same time. My custom orthotic is too short & toes hang when orthotics shift, same orthotic fits well in the #4. Also, width is too narrow & experiencing small toe discomfort after wearing a short time. The width is very comfortable in the #4. Because of the obvious size disparity the shoes just looks clunky. Although I have only worn them in the house, I’m guessing there are no refunds on sale shoes. .

I had a pretty poor experience with these shoes. They are not supportive of supination or high arches and caused significant foot pain and numbness over the course of several weeks before I ditched them. Disappointed, because I do like how springy they feel.

However, since wearing them on my 3-mile walks in the mornings, my feet have developed pretty ugly, painful blisters on the bottoms of my heels. Now I’ve had to invest in special anti blister socks, anti glide for feet, and blister bandages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still deciding if I like it. I sometimes get some pain on the outside of my foot, near the area underneath my pinky toe. I got medium width and am normally width, so not sure if that’s the issue. Also, it’s a little hard and the arch seems a little too flat - I prefer more of an anatomical arch that gently stretches the bottom of my foot. Overall though, I can tell it’s a great shoe, I’m just having a hard time deciding whether it’s for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have worn them outside, on paved road and on uneven dirt road, and also on the treadmill. I’ve walked, light-jogged, and sprinted and never felt any pain or discomfort in my toes or the sides of my feet and I usually do after an hour of any continuous activity while wearing other running shoes (Nike, Adidas, On). Very pleased with my Ghost Max 3!
