These have been an absolute game-changer for my running routine. Running pavement requires good impact protection, and the GEL-KAYANO 33 delivers perfectly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great shoe. Another one that ASICS keep improving on year on year. Good stability, but don't feel heavy or bulky. I use these for the treadmill and easy long runs. I also wear them with casual wear, if I'm out and about on my feet all day, as this seasons colours are quite smart.

Soft, stable and incredibly comfortable. What impressed me most is how naturally the support adapts to every stride—secure without feeling restrictive. The combination of FF BLAST™ PLUS and FF BLAST™ MAX cushioning delivers smooth landings and just the right amount of responsiveness. It wouldn’t be my first choice for speed sessions, but for easy runs, recovery days and long kilometres, it truly shines. Reliable comfort when the road ahead is long.

Essential for over-pronators

I need a stable shoe due to over-pronation, which has given me ankle problems, and the Gel-Kayano 33 has solved that. The shoe is cushioned, but not overly, and although sometimes we think of 'stable' as being bulky, this shoe is anything but. It is light and agile. I have the shoes in White/Hazy Lilac and they are staying cleaner than expected despite going off-road. I HIGHLY recommend these shoes for anyone with pronation (or without) :)
