The fleece is very substantial and quite firm so it does feel as soft and cosy as other fleeces have in the past. Maybe it will soften with wear and washing.

Actually thought id ordered a lighter weight fleece than what arrived but was so pleased with it anyway decided to keep it for colder weather. Well made good price whats not to like.

Heavy duty fleece. This fleece was certainly heavy duty ! However it was too snug and too short for the size bought and my wife ended up wearing it.She is not XL!! I was disappointed.

I find Regatta’s Garrian II fleece amongst my favorites for winters due to the warmth it provides. The fitting is excellent and does its job extremely well. Ideal for indoors and outdoors especially for those autumnal days and evenings.

This is the type of fleece you won't need a massive overcoat with. It's warmer than a summer's day, thick and absolutely cosy. It's not a microfiber fleece. It has weight and structure to it. Purchased on sale which was a steal!

Only had the item for a couple of months, but it seems very well made and at around £20 seems to be good value. After a few washes, it's come up like new each time and the sherpa lining hasn't gone flat and it's maintained its loft so far. The fleece has quite a dense outer material, which is very good at keeping the wind out. However, the main reason for purchase was to use for layering under an outer jacket. There are times, even in our relatively mild winter, that a standard fleece doesn't hold enough heat. I'm no Edmund Hillary, but I do spend a reasonable amount of time outdoors, so when researching this type of product I have to admit that Regatta wasn't the first place I looked, and not being able to find a sherpa lined fleece that easily I thought I'd give it a try for the money. I have to say I'm very pleasantly surprised and it goes to show that decent kit doesn't always have to cost loads of money.
